Scientists at Texas University, revealed a pen-shaped tool that can identify cancer tissue in 10 seconds.
The pen, called "MasSpec Pen" works to accelerate the testing process up to 150 times faster.
According to the media reports, that the tests carried out on 253 cancer patients took about 10 seconds and were found that it 96 percent accurate during that time period.
Tests included tissue related to breast, lung, thyroid and ovarian cancer, and scientists explained that each type of cancer had its own molecular structure.
The pen shows the word "natural" or "cancer" automatically on the computer screen, and may show the name of the subtype for some cancers.
