It is a feature that allows users to request money from their friends or family members who use the same application. The app uses a virtual payment address for online transactions. Feature is offered in a gradual manner, but the company did not indicate whether they are available for both iOS or Android users.
When a user asks for money, a notice appears on the phone of family or friend members, in terms of the user's request for money. The company also included a shareable link in the application, and can share the link with any user via different IM platforms, email, SMS or posted on a website to receive payments.
According to the company, the feature helps small businesses get secure and simple digital payments from their customers. An application user can create a virtual payment address that helps send or receive money immediately in a bank account linked to the application. Any transaction can be made by any bank that supports UPI as this new feature is based on UPI.
