An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the city of San Francisco, California, on Wednesday morning, without immediate reports of casualties.
The United States Geological Survey’s confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was centered near the Berkeley-Oakland boundary.
There were no immediate reports of damage in the area, the state Governor's Office of Emergency Services said.
