South Korea's LG Electronics has launched its "30" smart phone in an effort to compete with Samsung's recently launched Galaxy Note 8.
According to media reports, the screen area of the phone is up to 6 inches, and LG offers that advantage to its users after the size of the screen has become one of the important trade-offs between devices.
The phone features two cameras in the back performance up to 16 megapixel, and has fingerprint and facial features, as well as unlocking the device through voice recognition.
The phone is water-resistant and powered by Android and has been enhanced with an audio assistant, and technology experts say it is close to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which was announced last week.
Samsung's share of the smartphone market is 22.3 percent of the global market, while LG's share is only 3.7 percent.
Samsung sold 79.1 million units in the second quarter of this year, however LG, which is betting to raise its stake, sold only 13.3 million units.
